LA's Chinatown Seems Crappy, But if You Look in the Right Places, You'll Leave Amused

LA's Chinatown Seems Crappy, But if You Look in the Right Places, You'll Leave Amused Hello,

From one of the most seemingly disappointing, but secretively interesting Chinatowns in the U.S.

On first glance, LA’s Chinatown screams small and boring, as your eyes glance across the few, dusty looking shops lining the main drag. The Taoist Temple’s 15 or so parking spots are all taken, and many are lined up for Howlin Ray’s fried chicken, but otherwise it feels empty on a Sunday afternoon.

However, give it time, and give the herbal and tented stalls a go to take a peek at the hidden world of LA’s seemingly ghost town Chinatown.

Hi! I'm Jennifer Snuffleupagus, and I'm originally from Pennsylvania, but have been nomading my way through NYC, LA, and everywhere in between. I have not paid rent in 5 years because I pet and housesit in others’ homes through a mix of referrals, Trusted Housesitters, and Rover. In between, you'll see I live in offices and warehouses.I believe in minimalism, composting, animal rights, and redoubling the use of space otherwise unoccupied.

I like to share my wealth of three rental properties, outside NYC, through my savings of living this way, with a work exchange that allows for guests to stay for free in exchange for bartering their time in taking care of these places. I like also to share me techniques and unique perspective by creating videos for this channel!

Enjoy and subscribe to follow the adventure as we start to take the petsitting overseas again in 2020!
