Edinburgh College Coronavirus fears as students 'told to self isolate' after one reported showing sy More than a dozen Edinburgh College students have allegedly been told to self-isolate after a fellow student began showing symptoms of coronavirus .   One student told the Daily Record that around 15 learners had been given the advice after coming into contact with someone showing possible symptoms of the condition.  They said that around 15 people were in the business class at the Sighthill campus of the college on Tuesday afternoon.  In video footage on social media, a male college worker can be seen quizzing students on how they travelled to the campus.  He asks: "How many have come by public transport? Hands up."  He can then be heard saying: "There's five."  One student, who did not wish to be named, said that a female learner appeared "very distressed" and "severely ill", prompting fears she may have the virus.   The source added that several students in the room had recently returned from Northern Italy.  They said that college staff told them to self-isolate immediately and to call NHS 24.  The total number of diagnosed coronavirus cases in Scotland rose to three overnight.  Scottish Health Secretary Jeane Freeman confirmed that two new cases had been discovered during an interview with BBC Radio Scotalnd’s Good Morning Scotland show.   The two new patients are from the Grampian and Ayrshire areas.  The two new cases come just days after the Scottish Government announced that a person from Tayside had been diagnosed with Covid-19 after recently returning from Italy.  Edinburgh College have been contacted for comment.
