Usman Saifi was arrested while he was guarding his neighbouring Ram Mandir with other men of the area. Witnesses say it was at around 12:40 pm and he was arrested on gunpoint when he went to the rescue of another man being picked up. His brother Chota met him today at prison after getting his whereabouts from court with no word from the police. Police sources say Usman has been arrested for involvement in Shiv Vihar violence in accordance with a witness testimony. Reported by Suryatapa Mukherjee (@SuriMukherjee).
