Need of “SHELTER-ONE STOP CENTRE” A campaign called “Stop Sale Acid” aims to curb the sale of the acid and to raise awareness about the challenges faced by those who experience the violence of an acid attack was initiated by Laxmi in June, 2018.
Later, THE LAXMI FOUNDATION was registered in 2019 to ensure that survivors of acid attacks and other crimes such as rape, domestic violence etc. The Laxmi foundation is working for humanity and believes in equal world.
At present “The Laxmi foundation” is facing a major obstacle to find a permanent place to build a “Shelter-one stop centre” for the survivors and needy. Whenever a survivor travels from any state to New Delhi for treatment or various other reasons, the foundation becomes unable to give them a peaceful environment for proper counselling, treatment, post-treatment care.
There is an urgent need to build a “Shelter-One Stop Centre” to provide –legal aid, counselling facilities, recreational activities, learning facilities, rehabilitation, and post-treatment care.
Now, we need funds to build a “Shelter-One Stop Centre”.
