With his little act of fairness gaining President Oscar's (Rowell Santiago) admiration, Arturo (Tirso Cruz III) is granted free rein to the evidence incriminating Delfin (Jaime Fábregas). Cardo (Coco Martin) seeks the help of an old friend for his investigation against one of the alleged persons involved in his grandfather's arrest. Terrified of Cardo's threat, Eliza meets with Renato (John Arcilla) to ask for advice.
Upon gaining possession of some strong evidence, Teddy (Joel Torre) plans to return to his job and expose the mastermind behind Delfin's arrest. Meanwhile, Cardo confronts Eduardo (Froilan Sales) alone. Unknown to the suspended cop, Lily (Lorna Tolentino) and Arturo are plotting to conspire with another police officer who holds resentment toward him.
Despite Virgie’s (Shamaine Buencamino) apprehensions, Teddy remains adamant in investigating Delfin’s case. With his acquired evidence, the seasoned journalist reveals to Cardo and Diana (Angel Aquino) the photos of conspirators behind the former secretary’s arrest. Meanwhile, Cardo's determination to seek justice for Delfin greatly affects his relationship with Alyana (Yassi Pressman) and Letlet (Iyannah Sumalpong). Bent on ensuring Cardo’s dismissal from service, Lily and Arturo execute their wicked plan against the suspended police captain.
