RHA's Rod McKenzie: Truckers not being allowed access to toilets is 'simply intolerable'

Rod McKenzie, RHA managing director, has spoken out on the BBC radio about the ongoing issue of truckers not having access to toilets.

Speaking on the BBC’s Wake Up To Money programme, Rod said highlighted the scale of the issue being faced by drivers up and down the country, saying: “Nine out of ten lorry drivers, according to one survey, rarely or never have access to toilet facilities during work time when they’re making deliveries.”

The survey was conducted by Unite last year, and asked 4,000 lorry drivers about their access to toilet facilities while at work.
