The Daily Telegraph’s Jonathon Moran says the Harvey Weinstein case “is far from over,” as the former Hollywood kingpin is also facing another court case in Los Angeles. “I personally think we’re on the right side of history and this decision is the right thing and this man has very clearly been behaving in a predatory manner for many, many years,” Mr Moran told Sky News.
“He’s going to get between five and 25 years”.
Harvey Weinstein remains in hospital and has not yet been transferred to the Rikers Island jail complex after he was found guilty of two sexual assault charges,
He is scheduled for sentencing on March 11.
After he is sentenced, LA prosecutors are poised to charge Weinstein with eight counts of sexual assault, carrying a sentence of up to 28 years.
