'Can’t Have Another 1984 Under Court’s Watch': HC on Delhi Violence | The Quint The number of deaths following the violence in northeast Delhi rose to 22 on Wednesday, 26 February, according to news agency ANI. The court directed setting up of helplines for immediate help for victims, and that private ambulances be provided for their safe passage.

"We can't have another 1984 in Delhi, not under the watch of this court," Delhi HC Justice Muralidhar said earlier during the day.
