Our Start
Our background as a team described is that we are a family who grew up in the hood of Liberty City in Miami, Florida beating the odds against us. Growing up our neighborhood was rough, & like most hoods it was full of violence, drugs & poverty that presently continues today. However greatness is grown in the hood as well & because we wanted different we had to do different & renew our thinking. Instead of regretting the challenges & the bumps we decided to allow them to fuel us for change. By trusting our journey we've overcome those challenges knowing it wouldn’t be easy & made the decisions to press forward! Currently residing in Jacksonville, Florida for the past 5 years, we created the Hoodestates brand in January 2017. We decided to share our story on Instagram/Facebook & our Hoodestates family was the first to witness our journey of how we've conquered being defeated to successful young black entrepreneurs from the hood! Representing the “Hood” name (defined as neighborhood in low income areas) with pride, we are able to show others that you can be successful by buying up low income "Hood" real estate Labeled "warzone properties". Always keep in mind that if you work hard, never give up & stay on track, you will succeed!
What We’ve Accomplished
Over the past 10 years, we have been involved with the sells & purchases of multi-million dollars in real estate transactions, including well over 300 doors of residential & commercial properties; from deals as small as vacant lots to a 170 unit Hotel. In addition, we have a rehab/ construction company & a property management company as well. 6 years ago we've started a trucking company & have had several trucks that bring in passive income monthly. From our trucking success, we’ve developed a great digital product to teach others how to obtain a driver, purchase a truck, sign up with a 3rd party company & become a successful investor in the trucking business. We encourage you all to follow our lead, as we teach you how to free your minds & free your life. With us, we believe you can grow into successful entrepreneurs, business owners, real estate investors, & so much more.
